Kanon glanced at her two compatriots. It was more cursory than anything, because she just as soon tuned her eyes back to the ground, and up at her sensei, and back on the ground again. She moved forward, watching her feet, looking for any obvious places where the ground elevation changed or rocks littered the sandy soil, trying not to stumbled. Besides, if she focused on that, rather than on interacting with her teammates en route, she had less of a chance of saying something stupid.

| Sasori walked along confidently until they actually left the training ground before pausing with the realization that she actually had no idea where the hell their sensei was taking them. It was at that point that she actually paused and grudgingly allowed Sonya to take lead, staring at the ground much the same as Kanon until after she was behind. This silence seemed really awkward to her after what had just happened so she decided to break it with idle chatter. It wasn’t really her thing, but she felt like she at least needed to talk if she was going to be stuck with these three for more than a few days.
“So uh…” She stopped for a cursory thought on just what to say. “What’s everyone’s favorite dish then?” | Mood: Hm...

| Yuki just gained a tiny bit of an uncomfortable feeling when Sonya shot the glare at him. He had a feeling that it wasn't meant to be threatening, but with what those eyes did to Sasori, Yuki wasn't going to let them do any damage to him if he could avoid it. Still, avoiding their sensei should she randomly attack was nearly impossible.
He just moved along, giving a tiny nod to Sonya as she insisted that she was going to buy lunch. As she wished, he wasn't going to argue about it. He kept moving until Sasori of all people spoke. He hardly believed that she was going to be the one starting conversations. "Barbecued pork", Yuki said simply. He had loved it since he was a kid after all.
