First Site Event/Saga

Alright, it's time to start up at least the preliminary information for our first saga, which will involve the introduction of bijuu to the site, brought forth by our cultist group attempting to steal them for their power. While I'm not certain exactly how the event will play out, we would like to give everyone an opportunity to participate, by signing up one of their characters here. Those characters that are signed up to participate will receive certain rewards upon the completion of the saga. It can be a high level to help retrieve the stolen bijuu, or a lower level nin who could possibly be kidnapped for various reasons yet to be decided. A note to the mods, though, all the kages will be participating by default. Also, once this saga ends, there will be jinchuriki. You may also apply for one of those, which can be given to an already made character (that started as a Genin), or given to a new character that you will create later. Keep in mind that since there are only 9 jinchuriki available to go around, and more than 9 members on the site, priority will be given to those who joined first. When applying for a bijuu, give your top three choices for which one you want. Also, I apologize in advance to any of our newer members who might not get one due to 9 older members applying :cry:. The deadline for sign ups is this Thursday, so better to sign up sooner rather than later.

Question: Jinchuuriki characters, if awarded, have to have started out as Genin, if I understand correctly, yes?

no, they do not have to participate to qualify

also, mahiko, Uchihas cannot have a bijuu, so you might not want to withdraw Ame for bijuu consideration

Yeah, I already have an Uchiha and Samehada so I'm content for now lol. Besides, I want Satori to develop into the type of character that absolutely hates jinchuuriki. On a side note, if we have excess AP does that carry over. Like, say a genin were to take the Chuunin exams with 12 AP, would they have 2 AP as a Chuunin?

it looks like everyone will get a jinchuriki...there will even be one left over since mahiko doesn't want one. The list will continue to fill out as more people sign up and I can fill them in according to priority

Hey Kenji, if I claim a bijuu, do they have to be made into a jinchuuriki? 'Cause I want to do something like what Suna did before they had Gaara, with the beast sealed into a kettle.

um...I guess you could do that? ...you'd be given last priority though and take whatever's left over

Oh, and Mahiko, I think it was mentioned that Shukaku was sealed in that sage-of-six-paths-treasure kettle, not just a house kettle. Which is way less cool but still.

well you'll be able to choose from a list of options for bijuu abilities for those that don't have any unique ones specific to them. I suppose you could make customs if you really wanted to though...

Order of preference:
First choice: One-tailed Shukaku
Second choice: Six-tailed Slug
Third choice: Three-tailed Turtle
Fourth choice: Seven-tailed Beetle

I think only three preferences are supposed to count, Nova.

Also, Mahi, you might wanna note that Five-Tails and above cannot be sealed into objects. Five-Tails+ are too powerful for an object to hold. I think.

Also, Kenji, are pseudo-jinchūriki allowed? Like Sora? Was wondering whether I could divide my Tailed Beast into two people. Would be kinda cool.

Uhm, having only 3 preferences count makes no sense. What if somebody takes all of those options? I'm low on the list, so it's a possibility. It's just speeding along the "okay they were all taken which you want" process.

What if somebody takes all four?

If somebody takes all of them, you get what's left I guess.

The eight tails was sealed into a container pot in between jinchuriki, so no any of them can be sealed that way... except maybe the nine tails, but according to our story it can be since that's where they all are right now, sealed away into pots at a neutral location, away from the villages.

and... I'm going to say no, let's just keep it simple. I don't really want a whole other system for "split" bijuu into two different people.
