History

Iwakan's birth and childhood was unremarkable. She was smart enough to realize that showing her friends that she could grow horns, wings and a tail was a bad thing and being caught drinking blood in public would be REALLY bad and so her origins have been kept under wraps for like... ever.

Under advisement of her parents and friends, Iwakan joined the ninja academy and became an average student if a little below average due to her overly lax attitude. It's been said that she could very well be some sort of prodigy if she actually put her mind to the task, but thus far that has been entirely unproven. She's not the most motivated person in the entire world.

It was after the disaster in Iwa that things went severely downhill for the young woman. She was out in the field on one mission or another that she can't quite recall, but it took her quite some time. Somewhere near the time she started, Iwa collapsed and orders were given to return to the city. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Iwakan never actually received those orders and by the time she realized what was going on she'd already been labeled as a missing-nin.

At this point she continues on with no particular direction to her actions. She mostly just does random odd jobs that other people need to have done. She's mostly struggling to even get by at this point, but she's managed to survive. Despite her situation she still finds it hard to be concerned in the slightest.

Oh... and the key through her skull is a longer story than she really cares to tell.
