| Sonya stared blankly into the crackling campfire she had made for herself. How had it come to this? What was she doing here? Where was here, anyway? She didn't know... she had just kept running south until she had made it beyond the mountains and jungles of Iwa. Now, she was in the midst of a large field, dotted with lush trees and shrubbery. Was she in a different country now? It couldn't still be Earth Country.
Sonya brought her knees up to her chest and hugged them, shivering. It was cold, and she hadn't packed anything warmer. It's not like she had a chance, after all. If not for this fire, she'd likely be frozen. What would Aimi think of her now? She was running from her home after killing two of her fellow comrades in cold blood. There had been no reason for it, no excuse. She just... had. She'd snapped in the heat of the moment and murdered them. She could never go back to Iwa now, she would be an outcast, a criminal. She would have to start somewhere new, somewhere fresh, a place where no one would know what she had done.
"I'm sorry..." she muttered quietly to herself, feeling tears on her cheeks. She said it to no one in particular, just out loud, a simple 'sorry' for everything she'd done. She was weak and fragile, it had been proven time and time again, and there wasn't anything she could do about it anymore, not in Iwa at least. She just had to accept the fact that, in Iwa, she was a failure. She was a failure to the village, to the Tsuchikage, to Aimi, everyone.
Well, not anymore. Wherever she ended up, she wouldn't be a failure anymore. She would make sure of it. | Mood: Forlorn
